I have shot the summer guide for the Sacramento News and Review for a couple years now and it’s always good clean fun. When the call came in this year I was a little surprised to hear that this summer, the photos would be all nude. That’s right, the Nude and Review decided to get a little sinful this summer with some hot naked action. I got some amazing photos from our Adam and Eve shoot down by the river, here’s a little glimpse of what we got, including some very cute butts. Big thanks to Niki and Josh for being naked and fearless!

Yummy Mother
I had a chance to shoot over to the opening day of “Mother,” Sacramento’s newest vegetarian restaurant. If you are a veg head or a carnivore it doesn’t matter, mother is guaranteed to delight the senses. Check out their website here and go give it a taste!
Brew Master
I have been a little reclusive with my new baby lately.. I heard it was beer week in Sacramento. Sacramento’s micro brew scene is exploding at the moment and there are some delicious brews out there to experience. Here’s a few shots from Device Brewing Co. with Ken Anthony. I shot these for a cool article in Submerge magazine. You can find the article here http://submergemag.com/featured/device-brewing/10867/
Día de Los Muertos
Today is Halloween and this weekend is Dia de Los Muertos. Whatever tradition you celebrate there’s an undeniable feeling that this time of year is when the world of the living and the world of the dead are intertwined. I recently shot a couple of Sacramento artist’s and experts on Dia de Los Muertos. I met up with Rob-O at Mayahuel Tequila Museo to check out his giant sugar skull and learn about his work. After that I headed over to La Raza Galeria Posada to meet up with Jesus Barela and learn more about the history of Dia de Los Muertos. Check out the article in the SNR
Jesus created these figures of Pancho Villa and Frida Kahlo to celebrate them on day of the dead.
You can see some more of Rob-O’s sugar skull artwork at Little Relics Boutique at 901 21st street in Midtown Sac. It’s a really cool shop and totally worth a visit.
