Rolling Stills, a bicycle themed photography show featuring some of Sacramento’s top photographers, opened last night at Beatnik Studios. Here’s a few of the shots I submitted to the show. I also made a cool video that’s playing while the show is up. Stop by beatnik and check out the work, it will be hanging until the June 22nd.
I shot some senior portraits of my old neighbor in Loomis. I haven’t seen her in 12 years, so she would have been 6 when I left Loomis. I can’t believe how fast people grow up! We went out to her grandmothers place and she showed off her animals. Lindsay came with me and worked some of her magic too. I love spending time in Loomis! Maybe I’ll end up back there some day once I’ve made my million 😉

A few weeks ago I shot shot Daniel Trudeau aka Pregnant at Luigi’s Fungarden. Daniel and his girlfriend are both amazing musicians and are working on a really cool art project. Check them out and support their project! Also Daniel recently got signed to Mush Records so congrats Daniel! I’m hoping to get Pregnant to come play Beatnik soon. In the meantime check out some music here.
I made a mad dash over the mountains last week in between storms.. something got into me and I just had to go. After breaking my chains and sliding my way down into Southlake I finally made it to Genoa and rolled up to The Orchard House. This place is the family home of Randy and Betsy Falcke and their son, one of my best comrades Todd Falcke. Todd and I used to run Tahoe back in the day before we got old and soft. We decided to take a little hike up by Red Lake and test our jump building abilities. The Falckes are the most gracious hosts I have ever known and I am always thrilled to spend some time in this peaceful setting. Thanks allowing me to escape once again 🙂
