Janet and Gavin
A past client refereed me to a couple from Nashville TN who were getting married in Sacramento. I worked with Shannon Brasel, a photographer they brought out from Nashville on this little back yard wedding. Congrats Janet and Gavin!
Justin Farren and Kerry Marshall got hitched!
Justin Farren is one of my favorite musicians and a good friend. His songs are clever and sincere, funny and exciting and always from the heart. He married an amazing woman this May in the back yard of the house they built together. It was a beautiful DIY style event complete with custom mugs for party favors, home brewed beer and an amazing potluck feast. I was there as a guest, not a photographer but I couldn’t help myself and had to shoot a few. Congrats Justin and Kerry!

Nightmare Wedding
Nathalie and Xavier are not your typical wedding clients. They are artists, collectors, music connoisseurs and huge fans of all things Tim Burton. When they told me that their wedding was going to be a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme I was thrilled. Also, having the reception on my home court Beatnik Studios was pretty cool too. Big thanks to Josh from Josh Gatlin Photography for helping me out on this one. Also have to give it up to N’Gina from Events by 8 for the creepy and classy decor and wonderful food.
