Few and Far celebrated two years with a ladies skate jam at the power inn park in Sacramento. Despite the backwater views of Nyjah Huston (thinks women don’t belong on skateboards and should stick to wearing skimpy outfits and handing him trophies after every contest he wins) I love seeing women shred and hope more girls pick up boards! Girls came from Oregon, Colorado and all over California to skate and have fun at this unique event. Big thanks to the women behind Few and Far for all of their efforts and for helping grow the female art and skateboarding scene. Now get off your computer and go skate!

Stebbins Cold Canyon hike and Berryessa Brews
My Mom was out of town for Mothers day so I went for a hike with a couple friends instead. My good friend Joey organizes a hiking group called the Telegraph Hiking Club. We did a short loop outside of Winters called Stebbins Cold Canyon. First we stopped at the Berryessa Brewing Co. and grabbed a growler full of Common Sense Ale with a giant coozy to boot. Lots of fun and close to home! Take a look 🙂

Crocker Work
Have you heard about the Crocker Art Museum’s Thursday til 9 events?
I have been working with the Art Mix event on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Here’s a little taste of what’s been happening and who’s been there so far!
Crocker
Hey Art fans! So I haven’t blogged in a while but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been shooting like a madman. I’ve been working with the Crocker Art Museum lately and I thought I might show off some of the things I have been shooting there. Some of these pics are from the photography Nuts and Bolts class and some are from the Crocker Thursday night Art Mix Party. The video is from the 10.10.10 Grand Opening.
